Vaccine Information
The vaccines are out, but there have been cases of allergic reactions to
them. The CDC is monitoring the different types of outbreaks to the
vaccines so here are a list of what can happen. Also, keep in mind,
after receiving the vaccine it is still critical that you wear a mask
when going to places and remain six feet apart from people.
-
Johnson & Johnson - This vaccine was 66.3% effective in the clinical
trials that were held. People have the most protection after two weeks
of receiving the vaccine.
-
Pfizer - One week after receiving this vaccine, it will be at least
95% affective.
-
AstraZeneca - This has not been approved in the US but in South
America the trials that have been held have worked efficiently.
-
Moderna - This vaccine was 94.1% effective in the trials that were
held before this was released. It worked even better with the people
who recieved both shots.
Anaphylactic shock - This is a severe allergic reaction. If this happens
after the first shot, do not receive the second. Immediately call 911 or
go to the hospital.
A less serious reaction - A less serious reaction would be a reaction
within four hours of receiving the vaccine. It could include symptoms of
hives, swelling, and wheezing.
Rashes - If you experience a rash because of the first shot, you should
not get the second. Rashes can start from a few days to a week of
receiving the vaccine and can become very big.
